Antec’s booth at Computex had something pretty interesting on display and it wasn’t a power supply but the Antec Nineteen Hundred case. This behemoth of a case that definitely stands out. One of the first things you will notice about this case is the size. Pictures taken from Computex put the Antec Nineteen Hundred case beside another and the other basically looks like a dwarf.

As you can see from the picture above the Antec Nineteen Hundred is massive (click on image for high resolution). The one featured at Computex has green accents but one could assume that Antec will offer it in multiple color accents. From what little I have read about the case is that it is two feet tall. That would put it about 2 inches taller than a Cooler Master HAF 932 or about 3 inches shorter than the Cooler Master Cosmos II. Now lets get to some of the other features of this case.

Antec Nineteen Hundred Case Features

  • Supports ATX, EATX, and HPTX size motherboards
  • (9) expansion slots
  • 17 drive bays
    • (3) 5.25″ bays
    • (14) 2.5″ or (12) 3.5″ (These can be configured differently)
  • (2) PSU Bays
  • Made of 0.8 mm thick steel
  • Cooling
    • (3) 120 mm front intakes
    • (2) 120 mm top exhaust
    • (2) 120 mm circulation fans inside the case
    • (1) 120 mm rear exhaust
    • Radiator mounts built into the top of case
  • Rubber grommets for cable management
  • PSU/drive bay separation from motherboard
  • USB and audio jacks on front panel

Pricing for the Antec Nineteen Hundred hasn’t been announced since they were showing it off at Computex but I would think this would be an affordable case. With all the features it sounds like a pretty solid case. I bought my Cooler Master HAF 932 for the same reason I like this case. Lots of room and options for placing fans or radiators. The thing I have envied about the Cooler Master Cosmos II case is the separation of the motherboard from extra drive bays and PSU even though the Antec Nineteen Hundred features putting the PSU on top or bottom. This case looks like it takes everything from why I choose my case and added what is missing so I will be very curious to see what the price point is later on and full set of features from Antec.
