ModCrash's step by step guide on how to build a gaming PC

Build a Gaming PC: Install the Power Supply

Installing the power supply will vary from case to case. Most modern cases have a bottom mount setup for the power supply. Refer to your case manual if you are not certain where your power supply mounts.

If you are using a fully modular power supply, you will need to install your needed cables first. For our build we need our 24 pin ATX cable, 8 pin MB CPU cable, sata cable, 4 pin molex cable and 2 PCI-E cables for the video card. Connect the ports that have the PSU label to the power supply. Now that cables are installed into the power supply, we can now route the cables through the case.

Once we pull the cables through we can mount the power supply. Just line up the 4 holes in the back of the power supply with the 4 holes in the case. Tighten down the screws.
