Rumors are flying around this morning about a possibility that a NVIDIA GeForce GTX 750 Ti will be launching next month and specifically February 18th. Now this is big deal because the biggest rumor is the chip it will be using won’t be Kepler but Maxwell. While not any specifics are out about the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 750 Ti are out, from the rumors it sounds like it will be positioned between the GTX 760 and GTX 660 and built on a 28 nm process.
What will the GTX 750 Ti “Maxwell” Feature?
With Maxwell a bunch of new features will be debuted such as unified virtual memory, this lets the CPU and GPU share the same memory with less overhead than the current version. Another big feature of Maxwell is the GPUs could have a 64-bit ARM CPU embedded based on NVIDIA’s “Project Denver”. This will allow the GPU to reduce the load on the main processor and improve performance.
