Call of Duty: Ghosts – Leaks and Launch Date
Are you a fan of the Call of Duty series, and have been holding your breath until the announcement of the release date for Call of Duty:Ghosts? Well look no further, today it appears we are 99% certain, and tomorrow we’ll be 100%. Since the first sighting of Call of Duty: Ghosts on a UK etailer, the news has just come streaming in from all over. It appears the UK etailer was simply just the first oops in a long line of bloopers to come. Today we have not only the announcement date from Activision, but also the release date!
Target Ad / Call of Duty: Ghosts Poster leak from Gamestop
This poster below with the words,”We are all we’ve got” written on the lower right, was leaked today, suggesting that Gamestop has already gotten the promotional materials in. These marketing materials are slated to go up tomorrow, May 1st, apparently to go along with the official announcement from Activision.
This ad appeared on from Target on Tesco’s website. Tesco is a UK Retailer. (I’m unsure how Target and Tesco are related here)
Release date & Rumors
The release date is November 5th, 2013, according to every leaked poster and flyer out there. I always like to have double sources on a rumor before I call it true, and since we have leaked images from two retailers at this point, we can say 11.5.13 is in fact the day. However, we won’t have too much longer until we know 100% sure, as May 1st, the rumored announcement date, is only a few hours away. Word is Activision will be announcing the game, along with the release date tomorrow during an NBA basketball match. Which game is not certain at this time, so if you’re a true fan of Activision, the Call of Duty series, or just excited about Call of Duty:Ghosts, you’ll need to tune in tomorrow and watch every game until you see the commercial. There are alternatives to that of course, you could simply spam search YouTube until someone posts it up, and I imagine it will be released on Activision’s website at the same time it’s released on television.
Other rumors spreading around is that Activision actually has built Call of Duty:Ghosts on an entire new game engine. Since we’ve seen IW Engine used on every Call of Duty game since 2007, I say it’s time for gamer’s to finally get something fresh. I’m crossing my fingers on this rumor being true, and will surely report back to you tomorrow once I know.

WOOOO! Fabulous name with Xtreme Awesome Cover Page of COD Ghosts, Breathtaking!! Can’t wait till November 5th…
I will get Battlefield 4 over this. I don’t want to criticise COD, it’s just a matter of personal taste
I’m with you on this one Panda. I’m still waiting to see if the gameplay is any different from the last few releases. I’ve been boycotting this franchise for about 4 years now.
Screw this, give us back the awesomeness of CoD:MW (1) or else you’re (Activision) not getting any of my money!
