A ModCrash favorite: The Corsair Neutron GTX 240GB SSD
This is a belated review, but sitting at the round table with the ModCrash staff, we decided to review some of our favorite products. So, this is one of mine. With Corsair staying in the top tier of Solid State Disks, the Corsair Neutron GTX 240GB SSD has kept being a top contender over the last few months. Today, we will find out why.
The Corsair Neutron GTX boasts a LAMD Amber LM87800 controller and a 24nm Toshiba MLC, 85k IOPS (4k aligned) and a 128MB DRAM Cache Memory. Also the Corsair Neutron GTX 240GB SSD has up to a Max Sequential Read of 550MBps, Max Sequential Write of 470MB/s and a 5 year warranty. The specs are impressive, now lets see how it holds up physically.
