The Samsung 840 Pro SSD is probably one of if not the best SSD series ever built. The quality of manufacturing and features the 840 Pro series have made it one of the best buys when the series debuted. From its ultra slim 7 mm height or up to 90K and 100k IOPS for writing and reading respectively the Samsung 840 Pro SSD set the bar for what the consumer looked for in a great SSD. I personally was very happy when I received my Samsung 840 Pro SSD and it has survived multiple secure erases using Parted Magic and lived though multiple cases and builds without so much as a hiccup. While newer technology and bigger sized SSDs have come to market, such as the Samsung 840 EVO 1 TB SSD, the 840 Pro series has still held its ground for reliability and speed in an ever changing market.

So with any SSD really there isn’t alot to show about the SSD. The Samsung 840 Pro isn’t immune to this but its the inside that we really care about anyways and not what is on the outside.
As you can see from the front it doesn’t have much to it other than letting you know its a Samsung SSD and some accent marks.
The rear of the SSD is almost as bland at the front except what isn’t show in this picture is the sticker with the make, model, serial number, ect. to mark the individual SSD but nothing else.
