Nvidia Shield Goes on Preorder with Pricing

Nvidia Shield is finally on its way to gamers hands with pricing and preorders

Nvidia Shield is finally here. Today it went on preorder and the pricing was announced. If you are unfamiliar with what Nvidia Shield is then maybe you have heard of “Project Shield . If you have not then here is the rundown for you.

Nvidia Shield is going to be an high definition (720p) handheld gaming set. It will be Android based and powered by the Nvidia Tegra 4 processor. It will have a 5″ Screen attached to a console grade controller, integrated speakers, and have Wi-Fi, connectivity.

Now for what everyone wants to know. The price tag on the Nvidia Shield will be $349 at Newegg, Gamestop, MicroCenter, and Canada Computers. If you were on the mailing list for the Nvidia Shield then you can preorder now but if you did not then you have to wait until May 20th to preorder the Nvidia Shield.

Overall the Nvidia Shield is a heavily loaded gaming device. While the mainstream PC gamers might want one this looks like a pretty good product for on the go. I personally doubt I would use this but just the fact it came from Nvidia is does have my interest. So here you go if you have been wondering about the Nvidia Shield.
