The True Golden Age of Pirates Trailer Released AC4
If you have been playing the Assassin’s Creed series then you know the next installment of the series is going to be Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag. This game is going to focus more on the sailing and naval battles that we got a taste of in Assassin’s Creed 3. The story is going to be based around Edward Kenway, father of Haythem Kenway and grandfather of Conner Kenway or Ratonhnhaké:ton. This is going to be a prequel to Assassin’s Creed 3 if you had not noticed.
Assassin’s Creed 4 Game Features:
Game play features will involve three main cities under pirate, Spanish, and English influence. According to Ubisoft their will be about 50 locations to explore with a 60/40 balance between being on land and out at sea. Once again you will have an open world to with supposedly fewer restrictions on the character to do what you want to do. Your character will encounter villages, jungles, ruins, forts, and other areas within the game. While on the sea you will have the option to engage, board, and capture enemy vessels and they are adding a spyglass to the game so you can examine ships for a distance also. Your ship, the Jackdaw, will be upgradable throughout the game.
Release dates:
Ubisoft has confirmed that Assassin’s Creed 4 Black Flag will be released for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Wii U, and PC on October 29th, 2013. Ubisoft did say that a release of the game for both the next generation consoles for Sony and Microsoft are in the works but have not released any details. Another note is that finally the PC version will be released with console versions. Assassin’s Creed 3 for PC had to wait a month after it had released for consoles before we got our shot at buying and playing the game.
