The DirectCU H20 water block sits behind the aluminum cooling fins and has built in G 1/4 in. threads to easily add this graphics card into an existing custom liquid cooling loop. With just using the air cooling portion alone ASUS claims 7C lower temperatures than a standard reference design and as much as 24C when using the liquid cooling portion.
