Are you ready for the Battlefield 4 Beta?
Access to the Battlefield 4 beta is going to happen. You can check your EA Origin account and see that if you bought Premium edition of Battlefield 3 that you have access to the Battlefield 4 beta it just needs to be downloaded when they release it. If you preorder the digital deluxe version of Battlefield 4 then you also will gain access to the beta. This is a rumor but a picture was found for the announcement of the Battlefield 4 Beta.
Battlefield 4 Beta Access
Now as I said this is a rumor and in no way could be true but if you look back to Battlefield 3 then it could be possibly true. The beta was opened for almost two weeks that started about a month before the release date. Battlefield 4 will release on October 29th, 2013 so the beta going online a month earlier would keep about the same timeline.
When the beta for Battlefield 3 was released it was originally for Xbox 360 and PC only. As you can see from this picture it will be on all systems this time except the Wii U since EA has said they will not be trying to port the Frostbite engine over. My one question I have is will it be the same length and what gameplay will they let us see. If you played on the Xbox 360 then you only had access to Rush on Operation Metro where PC users had access also to rush on Operation Metro but got access to playing conquest on Caspian Border. So with next generation consoles being released sometime this year and I suspect before the beta launches will the PS4 and Xbox One assuming they are both launch get the same access PC gamers got or will us PC gamers get something special again?
Either way I am looking forward to the Battlefield 4 beta since the beta for the Battlefield 3 was awesome. If you haven’t ordered Battlefield 4 yet for any of the consoles or PC, I would suggest doing so to get access to the beta. Also if Ea does like Battlefield 3 then those who pre-ordered will get 48 hours early access to the game.
