Club3D Announces they will shift to AMD Exclusive Products

Club3D Plans to Produce AMD Products Only, No More Nvidia

Club3D has announced that it end its partnership with Nvidia to focus solely on AMD products only. While Club3d has not given any reason why they decided to do this, we can only speculate. I know most people when they think of Club3D, they think of their high end graphics cards from both AMD and Nvidia.

One has to wonder why they are doing this at this time since Nvidia just launched their new GTX 700 series of graphics cards and while AMD plans to release a Radeon HD 8000 series of graphics card, it looks like it will be just an upgraded model of the 7000 series which has done well. Everyone is speculating the new Radeon HD 9000 series will be released early next year which is a long time to wait in a market always waiting for the next big thing to come out. The CEO of Club3D, Judith Ma Tseng, had this to say about it.

“we are showing our commitment to AMD because we believe that AMD is ideally positioned to deliver a complete solution to our customers, and after 16 years in the business offering solutions from a variety of processor partners, we truly believe that we can offer a better solution going forward with AMD alone.”

Also Club3D’s Zvika Greenstein, Director of Desktop Product Management had this to add to it from their press release,

“With products like the Radeon HD 7990 Dual GPU, Club3D has a long-standing reputation for delighting enthusiasts with spectacular products based on AMD Radeon™ graphics chips,”

“Their decision to join AMD as an exclusive hardware partner is a powerful acknowledgment of our leadership in the graphics space, and a tremendous contribution to the technical expertise in the AMD Radeon™ graphics ecosystem.”

Overall it doesn’t seem to be a bad option to join forces exclusively with AMD to produce some of the best GPUs out their that Club3D already does with their own take on the reference models that AMD produces.
