The CM Storm Trigger Z upgrades a great keyboard
CM Storm announced today the launching of the Trigger Z mechanical gaming keyboard. If you look at the product pages of the CM Storm Trigger and CM Storm Trigger Z they look pretty similar and almost identical but looking at the specifications you begin to see why the Trigger Z is a nice upgrade to the original Trigger, which I use daily and love.
One of the cosmetic changes you will notice right away when looking thought he specs is that the Trigger Z now matches your backlight to your choice in MX Switches. Region depending you will be able to choose between Brown, Red, and Blue Cherry MX switches. The CM Storm Trigger Z will also features five profiles and up to 75 macros, 128 KB of memory onboard to store profiles. A point was also made that the Trigger Z will be perfect for LAN parties with the ability to plug and play. Like the original Trigger you have integrated media keys, disable Windows key, and up to 64 KRO. You can read our review of the original Trigger to give you an idea about the Trigger Z.
Availability should be in February 2014.
