In what seems an attempt to steal the show, Corsair has announced their new line of peripherals on the first day of PAX prime. Slated to be released in September, Corsair added five new gaming headsets, one gaming keyboard, and two gaming mouse pads to their Raptor and Vengeance line up.
New Corsair Vengeance Headsets
Three of the five headsets announced at PAX Prime fall under their Vengeance series of peripherals. Announced in this series is the Vengeance 2100, 1500 V2, and the 1400. Pricing ranges from $149.99 to $89.99.
Vengeance 2100
The Vengeance 2100 comes equipped with a 2.4 GHz wireless audio, 10 hours of battery life, and a 40 foot range. In terms of sound quality, the Vengeance 2100 comes with some of the best audio available in gaming headsets including Dolby 7.1 surround sound, and 50mm drivers for deeper sounding lows. In terms of comfort, the ear pieces are made from microfiber memory foam, and provides comfort for those you’re talking to by coming with a noise-cancelling microphone.
The Vengeance 2100 is the most expensive of the three new Vengeance headsets, coming in at $149.99.
Vengeance 1500 V2 & Vengeance 1400
Coming in barely under $100 at $99.99 is the Vengeance 1500 V2 gaming headset. Falling shortly behind it is the Vengeance 1400 at $89.99. Both have a similar appearance, but not quite as similar performance.
The Corsair Vengeance 1500 V2 features Dolby 7.1 virtual surround sound, 50mm drivers, microfiber ear pieces, an in-line remote, noise cancelling microphone, and a 3M (9.8 ft) braided cable.
The Corsair Vengeance 1400 contains all the features of the 1500 V2 with the exception of the Dolby 7.1 surround sound, making it less attractive for only a $10 price difference.
New Corsair Raptor Gaming Headsets
Added to the Corsair Raptor lineup is the HS30 analog headset, and the HS40 7.1 headset. The HS40 7.1 comes in at $59.99 while the HS30 is priced at $49.99
Corsair Raptor HS40 7.1
The Corsair HS40 7.1 features Dolby 7.1 virtual surround sound, 40mm Neodymium drivers, padded ear pieces, a noise cancelling microphone, a 2.7m (9ft) braided cable, and connects via USB. Coming in at $49.99 the Raptor is a great deal considering it comes equipped with 7.1 surround sound, and 40mm neodymium drivers to really enhance your lows.
Corsair Raptor HS30
The Corsair HS30 comes equipped with the same features and looks as the HS40 with the exception of surround sound. They still contain the 40mm neodymium drivers, padded ear pieces, noise cancelling mic, 2.7m cable, and USB connection. Also slightly different is the in-line volume control, which has a less attractive look but seems to contain the same functionality.
Corsair Raptor K30 Keyboard
The only keyboard announced by Corsair during PAX prime was the Corsair K30 gaming keyboard. The K30 uses rubber domes key switches, six programmable G-Keys, multimedia keys, and red backlighting with 3 brightness presets. Also included is on-board user profile storage and anti-ghosting technology for accurate gameplay.

The last products to be announced by Corsair during PAX prime is the MM200 and the MM400 mouse mats. The MM200 features a non-slip rubber base, a glide-optimized surface, and measures in at 930 x 300 mm. The MM400 measures 310 x 235 mm, contains a low friction polymer surface and includes a non-slip rubber base.
