CyberPowerPC has always had some good looking machines but a recent press release is showing off a stylish Steam Machine that will be available in the 2nd half of 2014. Currently two configurations will be available starting at $499 and then up to $699. CyberPowerPC promises PC performance from their Steam Machine and will come that latest version of Steam OS and include a Steam controller. Below are the current configurations.

CyberPowerPC Steam Machine I $699 Option
- CyberPowerPC Steam Machine gaming chassis
- Intel Core i3-4330 3.5 Ghz
- Nvidia GeForce GTX 760 2 GB GPU
- 500 GB SATA-III 7200 RPM HDD
- 8 GB DDR3 1600 Mhz Dual Channel Ram
- mITX motherboard w/ 802.11 AC WiFi + Bluetooth
So basically in a nutshell it looks like you will be getting your monies worth in PC hardware with a pretty cool case and the Steam controller. Since this should be hooked up to a TV I would think with the dedicated GPU it should run 1920×1080 well with the added bonus you could dual boot to Windows if you have an extra key laying around. As I Â mentioned earlier the availability is going to be the sometime in the second half of 2014 so more information should come out I would assume with more customizable configurations as well as preset configurations.
One thing I think would be interesting is since the case actually looks pretty cool is if CyberPowerPC would just sell the chassis and then you could add your own parts assuming CyberPowerPC isn’t getting a custom made PCB made for this case since make and model of the motherboards supplied is not mentioned.
