Deepcool Lucifer CPU Cooler Announced

Deepcool, who is a leader in cooling parts, has announced their Lucifer CPU cooler. The Lucifer CPU cooler is the first fanless CPU cooler from Deepcool and is selling under the sub-brand Gamer Storm according to Deepcool’s press release. According to Deepcool the name for the cool comes from,

“named after the hero from the well-known and popular video game DotA (Defense of the Ancients) for Warcraft III. The most important skill of this cooler is to “Devour” the heat massively.”

The Lucifer CPU cooler was designed to be a mainstream fanless cooler that will fit on just about any socket type. The Lucifer CPU cooler does come with one fan packaged that you can use for extra cooling or add as a case fan if you want and the fan that does come packaged with it is a silent PWM designed fan. Deepcool does say that using this cooler fanless is meant for if you have good case flow which means probably a higher end mid tower or above. The Lucifer CPU cooler has six heat pipes, mirror finish copper base with a covex design, and will be available worldwide in August. While prices differ by region you live in the suggested retail value of the cooler is about $60.
