EVGA is adding another feature to their lineup of graphics card with their double BIOS. The whole idea behind this according to EVGA’s webpage is to give the user more control, improved overclocking, and recovery in case of a corrupt or bad BIOS flash, ability to experiment with a custom BIOS or settings, and has easy switching between the BIOS. Just like with a motherboard having the option to switch between a BIOS for different settings or a backup is always a good thing. Most of these cards you will be able to purchase right now but a couple of these cards EVGA has put as “coming soon”.
How to switch the using the Double BIOS
You will be able to change over the BIOS with the flip of a switch. Switching BIOS is as simple as powering off your system, locating the BIOS switch on the graphics card, switch to the correct position (secondary or third position), then power on your PC and it should be using the which ever BIOS you have selected.
Below is a list from EVGA that currently supports double BIOS.
