EVGA Z87 Motherboard line-up has arrived.

Since the new EVGA Z87 motherboards are to hit the shelf soon, I am eager to get my hands on one. I am an avid user of EVGA, and have had virtually every motherboard in their Intel i7 processor series. EVGA’s  last motherboard, the Z77 FTW is the board that I use now in my gaming rig, so I am looking forward to see what the Z87 series can do, and to see if EVGA can recover from poor bios issues.

With the EVGA Z87 series about the shelves I was also happy to see that EVGA has decided to bring back the much loved Classified board. With that in mind, here is the new EVGA Z87 lineup:

EVGA Z87 Expectations

Although I have been an avid fan of EVGA for a few years, my expectations for the EVGA Z87 are quite low. Due to poor BIOS qualities that have been experienced in the Z67 – Z77 series, I am not expecting much improvement with BIOS support in the Z87. As far as motherboard construction, EVGA has proven and continues to prove to be solid. But without good software the best hardware is nothing. Let’s hope that EVGA has invested more time and money with providing solid a solid BIOS.
