Earlier today a leak happened at Ubisoft concerning Battlefield 4 system requirements. Now my first question was, “why in the heck would Ubisoft even be posting this?” While we can’t confirm it has been completely denied by DICE or EA regarding what Ubisoft put out on their online store regarding Battlefield 4 system requirements. The general consensus is that Ubisoft added this as a placeholder and someone goofed by actually publishing it and I can believe that. Just to keep things in perspective is the Battlefield 4 system requirements for the alpha is Windows Vista SP2 64 bit and the Battlefield 4 system requirements according to Ubisoft’s online store is just merely Windows Vista SP1 32 bit version which since EA and DICE have been touting Battlefield 4 to be alot more graphic intensive with the Frostbite 3 engine vs. the Frostbite 2 engine.
Now a redditor by the name of offspring, who is listed as an EA Employee said this about the leak,
”I don’t believe the final system requirements have been decided yet, and this looks a lot like placeholder system requirements from BF3 with a couple of tweaks. I know everyone’s excited for BF4 news, but I wouldn’t trust an Ubisoft page with system requirements for it just yet.”
While this is not the holy grail of evidence to suggest this is a fake or not the fact that minimum Battlefield 4 system requirements are less than alpha and about the same and Battlefield 3.

So personally I think the Battlefield 4 system requirements are a screw up of someone who works on Ubisoft’s Online Store.
