Killzone Shadow Fall Gameplay E3 Reveal
Killzone Shadow Fall gameplay trailer and developer commentary was shown during E3 2013. The gameplay and the artistic development displayed during E3 left many of us here at ModCrash in complete awe. If you are new to the Killzone series, or a veteran since the first one on, I’d suggest checking this one out.
Killzone Shadow Fall originally was created using only 4GB of system resources for the Playstation 4, however the studio later learned the PS4 would be shipping with 8GB of system memory. The Killzone Shadow Fall gameplay trailer you see below is actually not using it’s full potential. I’d imagine by the time Killzone Shadow Fall releases we’ll see it hogging up all 8GB available to deliver a better experience than what we saw at E3.
It also wasn’t supposed to be the premiere PS4 reveal during E3, however once Sony laid their eyes upon the gameplay it became just that. I have a feeling you will likely feel the same way Sony did after you watch the video.
Killzone Shadow Fall Gameplay Reveal
If you’ve taken the time to watch the above video you should already know that the Killzone Shadow Fall gameplay appears to be freaking epic. The character models look awesome, the rag doll effects of the bodies as they die and fly through the air just looks amazing. The part where the developer scales back the graphics to display all the 3d models rendered in just one scene of the game is simply flat out amazing. Obviously the game could use a little polishing still, but I’m already loving what I see without that polish.
If you watch the last bit of the Killzone Shadow Fall gameplay video we can get a few glimpses of the weapon and defense systems available within the game. He uses some kind of energy shield which allows him to shoot bullets through to kill enemies, but prevents them from shooting him. Then he uses some kind of wall hack (thermal vision maybe) to see the enemy, then tosses a mini flying auto turret type device in the room before charging in and taking out the enemy. I’m really excited to see what kind other systems and weapons are out there when the game releases this winter.
Overall, I’m highly excited abut this game, and imagine it will be one of the best games we see coming out this year. Killzone Shadow Fall release date is Q4 2013, so I’d assume we’ll see this one launch in conjunction with the Playstation 4.
