Looking for more speed for your SSDs, well LSI 12 Gbps PCIe adapter card have started shipping. The current standard is SATA3 or 6 Gbps on all new motherboards, cards, ect and LSI is going to start challenging that speed with their 12 Gbps PCIe adapter cards. LSI has released four different cards that are capable of doing 12 Gbps but at a premium considering the cheapest card start off at a price tag of $245 and only goes up.
Here are the four LSI 12 Gbps PCIe adapter cards.
- 9300-8e with 8 ports
- 9300-8i with 8 ports
- 9300-4i4e with 8 ports
- 9300-4i with 4 ports

The specifications for the cards are that they can deliver over 1 million IOPS through PCIe 3.0 x8. All four of these cards you will be able to use for bootable devices and are low profile to fit in servers, workstations, HTPCs, and regular desktop PCs.
