Conclusion
Cherry MX switches offer a very good variety to fit pretty much anyone. Since I personally switched to a mechanical keyboard I could never do back. It doesn’t feel the same and I would actually type slower. I raised my words per minute by 10 minimum when I switched over. I said it earlier but I cannot stress this enough that if you have any possible way though friends, stores, expos, neighbors, anything to try and test out as many switch types as possible to find the right fit you you. Mechanical Keyboards are crazy expensive but depending on which switch you want they can cost upwards of $100-120. These keyboards are not something you want to buy 3 or 4 of to find the switch right for you. Now once you have found that magical switch that fits you like a glove then I promise any other type of keyboard will feel like crap. Also as I said before is that mechanical keyboards are way more durable than your standard membrane or dome switch.

Maybe I was just unlucky but I have had to RMA the Corsair K90 twice because of of dodgy backlight LEDs. Within less than 3 weeks a light broke. First time the “2” key on the 10 pad and then the right arrow key. For a close to £100 keyboard I expect better.
That sucks man, definitely some bad luck I would think from everything I have read about the K90 and what the people I know that actually own one have said.
