So, the count down is on for the new Medal of Honor, Warfighter. The newest member of the Medal of Honor series seems to be promising. With the use of the Frostbite game engine, Medal of Honor Warfighter is sure to be a big hit. Since the last Medal of Honor, 2010, we saw a huge leap from the WWII type FPS which has seem to lose steam in the FPS genre. Now we are into the high tech present day fighting. With modern war fighting, the genre seems to have more of a realistic feel that gamers can relate to. With that being said, let’s check the game out.
From the looks of Beta Gameplay, it appears that MOH has kept it’s awesome ballistics and recoil calibration of firearms. This give the game a more realistic feel then its sister game Battlefield. True, the Battlefield series is a very realistic FPS, but it suffers greatly in the area of impact prediction / hits. With Medal of Honor, when a gamer fires a weapon, there is more of an accuracy set from the very beginning. The weapons take a bit more time to get used to, but if you grasp the hang of it, you are sure to have a high K/D ratio.
Enough about my perception, let’s see the game in action
Medal of Honor Warfighter is scheduled to be released October 23rd, 2012. If you are a fan of the Medal of Honor, or Battlefield series, this is you’re next game. If you pre-order through Origin, you will have early Beta access to Battlefield 4, scheduled to drop in 2013.
We look forward to fragging with you guys! Until then, keep an eye out for a more in depth review of Medal of Honor Warfighter.
