2 Minute Video documents how Crucial Ballistix Ram is Made
I have always been a big fan of the show How it’s Made. I have always been been a person who likes to see how everyday items that I use goes from raw materials to the finished product. In this case I found a video from Micron that shows how Crucial Ballistix ram is made. It seems this is a rare glimpse into the process that a PC manufacturer gives to the public as I haven’t seen to many video like this.
The start of the process starts with a pure silicon wafer and a month later it is ready. After going though a process that involves high tech automated equipment and rooms 100x cleaner than hospital operating rooms you get the finished product that is Crucial’s high end ram built for gamers, builders, or overclockers. If you are interested in this kind of thing when taking two minutes out of your day is well worth it to watch the video below.
”Performance memory is designed to give gamers an edge in competition. This really boils down to two things: performance and reliability, and that’s exactly what we test for. This detailed behind-the-scenes video shows how we manufacture and extensively test each and every Crucial Ballistix module.” – Crucial PR
