Cooler Master Cases being shown off at Computex
Over the years Cooler Master cases have been one of the top lineups when it comes to sizes, performance, aesthetics, modding. As Computex starts to whine down they started showing off new product lines they plan to be releasing throughout the year. Most people that drool over cases have a good idea what a Cooler Master Cosmos II is in relation to one of the best cases ever built. The biggest issue with the Cosmos II was the price tag which is currently about $330 at amazon but I know other places probably have it cheaper such as MicroCenter. Well at Computex, Cooler Master was nice enough to show us the Cosmos SE. The Cooler Master Cosmos SE is the smaller, almost identical, brother of the Cosmos II and rumors are it will be released before the year is out along with the other cases we are gonna show you in this article.
Cooler Master Cosmos SE Case
If you have been reading along then you know this case does not need any hype. The Cosmos SE while smaller than its big brother is still a beast in its own right. First off lets do a comparison of pictures.
Cooler Master Cosmos SE Case
Now as you can see Cooler Master did not want to just show off an empty Cosmos SE case so they went ahead and had what looks to be a pretty good liquid cooling set up built in the case to show it off. Big differences I see between the Cosmos SE and the Cosmos II is the missing separate for the PSU and hard drive bays. While it is missing the bays in the front, I think they were just taken out for the liquid cooling setup since the frame to put cages on seem to be present and ready to go. Also you may notice that while this case is smaller it does fit a full ATX motherboard, long GPUs, and a 360 mm radiator. From what I have read also it does have a windowed side panel unlike its big brother. The big question now is what will it cost to get this smaller beast of a case.
Cooler Master Elite 120
The Cooler Master Elite 120 has been a workhorse for Cooler Master and based on all of its features you can understand what I mean. While this is not a completely new case it looks like Cooler Master has changed the front somewhat and trimmed some fat slightly but overall the same case. Just to give you an idea of what this case is capable of is you can fit a full size GPU and PSU. Below are the specs for the current Cooler Master Elite 120 case.

Obviously some of those specs will change when Cooler Master releases the new version but it should be fairly close if you are looking for a new case to build a HTPC or small form factor PC. Here is the picture from Computex.
Cooler Master 693 Case
The Cooler Master 693 case is a simple but elegant mid tower case that is a step up from the Cooler Master 690 II case. The 693 will be able to fit a 240 mm rad in the top aswell as being able to fit three 200 mm fans throughout the case.
The 693 looks pretty good with its glossy look and still packs a punch for cooling and handing big GPUs and liquid cooling.
Cooler Master Silencio 352 Case
The Silencio 352 case is a micro ATX with two 120 mm front fans, one 120 mm top and rear fans also. The design keeps it where you can use a micro or mini ATX motherboard but still be able to fit in a long GPU.
It looks like the Cooler Master cases are pretty solid and the company has been listening to fans so they can build higher end systems even with a lower end case. Obviously the Cosmos SE is the star of this group but the other three are no slouches in their respective category and usefulness. I am curious to get the full specs here in the coming months for all of these and see just exactly what they can handle and some more pictures details the insides without any components.
