The fully customizable GX Gaming Manticore Gaming Keyboard!
The GX Gaming Manticore gaming keyboard has been released in the US. While this keyboard is not mechanical it does feature mechanical like keys and a 16 million color backlight with 3 separate zones to let you match the Manticore to your system. While these features are pretty cool its the customization that makes the GX Gaming Manticore stand out from all other gaming keyboard that are on the market. The biggest of these is the ability to make a macro on the fly.
Making macros on the fly is as hitting the master record button and the keystrokes for what you want to do and hitting the master record button again. You will be able to set up to three profiles that will each have 8 macros so you can set them up for different games or situations. I got the chance to play with this keyboard at QuakeCon 2013 and actually enjoyed it alot. While I only got to spend about 10-15 minutes with the GX Gaming Manticore it was enough to know I wanted to find out more about it. While some might thing that the lack of mechanical keys is a negative I didn’t have any issues and it types pretty well and I am a big person on mechanical keyboards since I got my first one earlier this year.
