Nvidia 700 Series Rumored Release Date
The Nvida 700 series GPUs may be announced in May and launched as early as June 2013 during Computex. The rumors currently circling the internet is that Nvidia felt they were losing ground once AMD began pushing their never settle bundle. In response to that Nvidia is rumored to have moved up their launch date on the Nvidia 700 series GPUs to counteract this.
The Never Settle Bundle has so far provided AMD GPU customers with around $150 worth of free games, often times offsetting the cost of their GPU once the games were sold. Nvidia on the other hand has not been able to provide gamers with anything equally as aggressive and seem to depend on their GPU performance to make up for that. So far this model hasn’t appeared to hurt them, but it does appear they’re becoming concerned.
It’s still unknown if the Nvidia 700 series GPUs will merely be a redesigned Keplar based GPU, or something we haven’t seen before. The information given out during Nvidia’s GTC Keynote, says Kepler will be its dominating GPU during 2012 and 2013. This doesn’t confirm that Kepler will be the design around the Nvidia 700 series GPUs, but it also doesn’t deny it either. Maxwell-based GPUs are were slotted for a 2014 release, but perhaps AMD pushed hard enough to start up a potential GPU war and create an early release. In the coming months we see both companies exchanging blows, creating a GPU market ideal for buyers. Previous rumors suggested a 2014 launch for the Nvidia 700 Series GPUS, however rumors change, and so do release dates.
So far we’ve only seen improvements on both companies low-end GPUs. Perhaps the Nvidia 700 series will spur growth of more powerful cards from both companies. If you’re in the market for a new GPU this is definitely something to consider as GPUs currently out could be “last years tech” by June. If the Nvidia 700 series GPUs do launchin June, I’m sure AMD will not be far behind.

Let’s see if the 780 will be the rumored Titan LE
