The Next Generation nVidia Titan RTX Promises Extreme Performance with Turing
nVidia announced the newest member to the Titan family, the Titan RTX. Generally, the Titans are the powerhouses to the graphics card market. The nVidia Titan RTX, however, is a different beast altogether. With 24 GB GDDR6, 130 Tensor TFLOPs of performance and 576 tensor cores the nVidia Titan RTX earns its nickname, T-Rex.
nVidia Titan RTX and its technology
nVidia Turing – Titan RTX graphics are powered by the Turing architecture along with the RTX platform. nVidia boasts that this gives you up to 6X the performance of previous gen graphics with real-time ray tracing and AI. This can give some pretty realistic graphics with unbelievable performance. Tensor cores accelerate AI enhanced features like resolution scaling and video re-timing-creating. This technology truly reinvented the GPU market and now with the Titan RTX, this has been taken to the next level.
nVidia Titan RTX design
The Titan RTX itself looks amazing. It is sleek with a gold and black finish. This brings back the look of the GTX 770 which truthfully was one of the most visually appealing cards out there at the time. With dual 13-blade fans, the nVidia RTX airflow has higher performance with less noise. The Titan RTX also has A forged and machine-finished diecast aluminum cover with diamond-cut edge detailing, and an open design. This makes the card lightweight compared to its predecessors.
