Razer Project Christine Fully Modular PC Concept

Razer’s Project Christine is being touted as the world’s most modular PC design. Project Christine on its surface is a very elegant looking PC case that has so much more to offer. Project Christine will give PC enthusiast that aren’t necessary big into the building process of a PC but love to use it and gives the consumer the ability to customize their configurations to their specifications.

As you will see from the pictures below you will be able to interchange your CPU, memory, graphics card(s), storage, and power supply simply using plug in play. Razer says using PCIe architecture lets Project Christine sync any newly installed components. So basically upgrades, adding, or subtracting becomes alot easier. No more having to redo cable management or make sure components are compatible to each other.

One of the very cool things that may make Project Christine viable and attractive also is that Razer says that all components will be entirely self contained and actively liquid cooled with noise cancellation technology. Another feature is overclocking the components without worry of overheating and Razer says that it would not void any warranties which makes Project Christine perfect for users that want to use trial and error to find out how things work and push them to the max of their capabilities.

Personally I love the idea and hate it at the same time. I am someone who like the building process that goes into building my PC even if I can sometimes get annoyed with cable management (but who doesn’t?) but overall I do love the concept and idea. The idea of people able to switch out their own components and try out overclocking without the freak of voiding a warranty if they maybe break something is very appealing and I definitely would be first in line to try Project Christine out.
