A Game Changer For The Horror Genre Is Coming, Again
I don’t know about you, but I’m pretty excited about the new Resident Evil 2 Remake. The first game and every sequel thereafter were big hits when they were first released in the 90s. The Resident Evil Franchise has had some ups and downs throughout its history. Resident Evil 7 brought it back to life in a big way though. Praised for its reimagining of the Resident Evil franchise making the game truly scary again.
The Remake Looks Like It Might Be Another Winner For Capcom
With Resident Evil 2 Remake coming out in just a few days time, there is plenty to be excited for. An all-new HD remastering of the classic for today’s consoles and PC. I’ve even been playing Resident Evil HD Remaster to prepare for this new release. The original Resident Evil lets you choose between Chris or Jill. You need to solve the mystery of Raccoon City. If you don’t, you and everyone in the city are dead. All zombies plagued by whatever it is turning living creatures into the walking dead.
This New Release Is Going To Be Huge In 2019
Resident Evil 2 is no different. The only difference with it is that it’s bigger and better than the first one. The long-awaited sequel to the franchise initially brought with it better technology along with a wider experience than the first game. This should come as no surprise considering how popular the first one was upon its release. Capcom, the company that released Resident Evil had quite a few hits under its belt already when putting out the original game, but thanks to Tokuro Fujiwara and its main writer, Kenichi Iwao, Capcom had a bonafide hit into the horror genre with the new franchise
Capcom Succeeded In Making Resident Evil 2 Bigger Than The First Game
Like any other sequel, Resident Evil 2 had to outdo its predecessor in every way and the company succeeded with that goal. Everything about the sequel was just more complex and gave users an overall bigger experience with the title. In this new release, Capcom had to once again come up with new ways to make an already popular title exciting once again. By the looks of it, they’ve succeeded once again if the demo is any indication. There’s no doubt that this Remake is going to be huge.
You Can Check Out The Demo For Yourself
You can already see some of the new renderings in the demos that have been released on Steam. If you don’t want to have a go at it yourself, you can watch others play it so you to see the trailer for the Brad Vickers easter egg on YouTube. The demo from Steam has already gotten 3 million downloads in the short time it’s been up. That’s a good sign this game is going to be one of the first major titles released this year.
