Saints Row 4 New Features and Weapons Video

Today we got about a 7 minute video of some of the new features and guns that will be showcased in Saints Row 4. The game is scheduled to release on August 20th, 2013. Some of the features in the new game are better weapon customization, enemy types, Mech suits, and super powers! The creators of the game wanted to add on to the popular game play of Saints Row 3.

Now to start the game the leader of the Saints will now be the President of the United States but don’t think he sits in an office shifting though paperwork. He is out on the steets shifting though bad guys. He has the whole Uncle Sam costume on by wearing a suit of red, white, and blue.

Some of the new guns that are introduced are an inflator gun that does what it says and inflates people and a gun called the “Dubstep gun” which plays dubstep music and shoots lightning bolts out of it. All the weapons as it explains in the video have been taken a step further in Saints Row 4 for customization. While you had that ability in Saints Row 3, you have more options in Saints Row 4.

Now the new feature that should be very interesting is Mech suits. This will let you cause mayhem and chaos throughout the streets and level enemies.

One last thing to add is the new super powers. According to the video they wanted to give the leader of the Saints something new and when you see it you will want to try it out. From what I could see it looks like he has super speed, jumping, freezing to find the most creative ways to pummel your enemies.

Now on to the main event. The video looks pretty cool and a nice walk though of some of the upcoming equipment along with showing the destruction that the new weapons will do.
