Ubisoft has released a new trailer for Splinter Cell Blacklist that highlights the different game play types you can use in the game to complete missions and ultimately beat the game. The trailer is a little over two and half minutes and is titled “Ghost, Panther, and Assault”. So basically from the title if you haven’t guessed it that you will have three different ways to complete objectives.
The first style being the stealth by the narrator describing it as, “With the right tactics, Ghosts can complete missions without ever using lethal force.” Sam will have a variety of tools and options to complete the objective without ever having to fire a shot or kill anyone by using take downs, your drone, or other tools at your disposal. Assault obviously will when you want to go balls out and leave no one alive to tell the tale of what Sam Fisher is capable of. You will be able to trick enemies and use enemies as human shield for protection and offensive actions. The last is the Panther style which is basically the in between. You will use stealth as much as possible but aren’t afraid to take enemies out with your pistol or knife. You can use all of these on fly depending on the mission and how you want to complete it.
The narrator does a good job at the beginning to sum all of these playing styles for Splinter Cell Blacklist.
“Own the darkness as a ghost, perfect the predatory skills of a panther, or abandon stealth and accept the consequences of detection in assault mode.”
