When we received the Turtle Beach Ear Force Z300 wireless gaming headset I was very excited and to see how they would perform. I was also happy to be able to cut the cord on another PC peripheral that I use daily. I have using my Razer Carcharias which I bought to use with my PC and Xbox 360, then shortly after I stopped playing my Xbox 360. While I still enjoyed my Razer Carcharias, the 10 ft. cord was getting bothersome only using it maybe 2 feet at most from my desk.

I’m not a huge audiophile. What I look for in a headset is how they perform when I am playing games such as Battlefield 4 or Assassin’s Creed. I need to be able to hear the small almost silent footsteps as much as the huge explosions. I would consider myself an able bodied FPS player but have to admit that actually using this headset has made a difference playing FPS.
