Xbox One Price and Release Date Per Spanish Retailer

Xbox One Price, Release Date Per Retailer

When Microsoft introduced the Xbox One they did not go into detail on the Xbox One price or when it would be releases but instead told fans to wait until E3 to get the answers they were looking for in regards to that. A Spanish retailer has put out on the web a possible cost and release date for the Xbox One. Xtralife.es has put out on their website the preorder availability of the Xbox One for €600 for about $775 USD. The retailer also gives the Xbox One a release date of December 5th.

Now since Microsoft has not released any details and this could be a case of a retailer wanting to get a jump on the competition by announcing a preorder to get people to start giving them money. People have been speculating the Xbox One price as much as $800 but also alot of people think it will be in the $600 range which would put it slightly over what the Xbox 360 and PS3 cost when they were released. Either way this looks to be a case of since they want a jump on getting their preorders in and so they don’t lose any money on transactions that will charge $100-200 more than that they think it could be worth so they can either make a better profit or be able to give customers their money back once official pricing and availability are announced by Microsoft at which we hope is soon at E3.

Now as far as the December 5th launch date, that seems way to late. With both Battlefield 4 and Call of Duty: Ghosts, two of the top games to be sold this year, releasing in October and November respectively. You would think Microsoft and Sony would both want their next generation consoles out before or atleast to launch with these games. Battlefield 4 is going to release October 29th and Call of Duty: Ghost will be November 5th. Having next generation consoles release a full month after both of these titles does not seem feasible.
