AMD Never Settle Forever Bundle Detailed – Choose Wisely

AMD has released the what, when, where, and why for the successor to the Never Settle and Never Settle Reloaded bundle with the Never Settle Forever. If you have been following AMD at all the past couple years you will know they have been offered between 2 and 8 games with their 7000 series graphics cards (7700 series and up) which has included some AAA games such as Tomb Raider, BioShock Infinite, and Crysis 3 to name a couple. Now the big difference between the old bundles and the new Never Settle Forever bundle if it now gives you the option of you get to pick certain games when you purchase AMD 7000 and 9000 series graphics cards.

How the AMD Never Settle Forever Tiers Work

Depending on which graphics card you buy will put you in one of three different tiers to pick games. You will have the Radeon gold, silver or bronze.

Now also depending on what tier you fall into then you will be able to select a certain amount of games which will be 1, 2, or 3. Their is an exception to the rule also.

Now as I was saying exceptions. The only current exception to this rule is the AMD Radeon HD 7990 will still currently get all 8 games if you were to purchase them until the end of life for that graphics card. But here is currently how the 7000 series tiers out:

• Gold Tier (3 games): HD 7950 and HD 7970
• Silver Tier (2 games): HD 7800 series
• Bronze Tier (1 game): HD 7770 and HD 7790

As you see can see also from the picture for example while the gold tier may have all of the bronze and silver tiers if you have been wanting to get Tomb Raider for free you will have to purchase a gold tier graphics card to be able to pick it.

When you buy your graphics card from the participating retailer you will get a code to enter on the AMD Radeon Rewards page which you can go enter, register, and pick your games. Here are the rules though about that.

1. Once you register your code, you have until December 31st, 2013 to pick the games you want.
2. When you do pick games you will only be able to do this once, so you have to pick all the games you want once. You will NOT be able to come back and select more at a later date.
3. AMD can add other games later on to the Never Settle Forever bundle at any time and on the flip side they can take away games also.
4. Since you have till the end of the year to choose, AMD has not said what will be changed between now and then.

Now the AMD Radeon HD 9000 series has yet to be be released but will in the next couple months according to rumors. AMD has not added anything about the 9000 series or what new games will be added but I have written an article about the possibilities. So as soon as the AMD Radeon HD 9000 series launches the whole AMD Never Settle Forever bundle could be drastically changed since all the current games to choose from have been bundled previously with the AMD 7000 series graphics cards.  While come people might complain that this could become a crappy program, I do think it will have alot of success. It keep AMD from having to change the whole bundle later on like they did for the never settle and never settle reloaded bundles. While it would be nice to pick one game at a time before choosing others I don’t think it will be that big of deal. In the previous bundles you weren’t able to but could get games you did not like so now you have some say in what you get. .
